In order to understand ‘Big Data’, we first need to know what ‘data’ is.
Data in scientific term we can say a row material which we collect to process. Or we can say big data is data sets that are so voluminous and complex that traditional data processing application software are inadequate to deal with them.
But these data challenges us to search, capture, analysis, store, process, use, share, covert, modify etc……
So, ‘Big Data’ is also a data but with a huge size.Such a data is so bulky and complex that none of the traditional data management tools are able to store it or process it efficiently.
Examples of Big Data:
The New York Stock Exchange generates about one terabyte of new trade data per day.
McDonald’s serves both cold drinks and hot coffee along with its burgers all day long.
Social Media Marketing – Every day any user log on to Google, Facebook or twitter……..
All of these are the Big data Examples in Real Life…
